Program Description

Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore (GSMISTS) serves more than 10,200 girls, ages 5 - 17, in 30 counties in northern and western Michigan. Girl Scouting helps girls DISCOVER who they are, CONNECT with others locally and globally, and TAKE ACTION to make the world a better place. With the support of more than 3,700 committed volunteers and 40+ qualified staff members, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives, such as leadership, strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth.

GSMISTS provides a girl-centered, fun-filled, quality leadership experience in partnership with mentoring adults that meets the needs of girls in a fast-changing world and ensures a lifelong connection with Girl Scouting. Partnered with community and infused with the principles of inclusion and diversity, GSMISTS is vital and strong, and is the premier organization for girls.
