Program Description

The Upward Bound Program Is...

  • -A free college preparatory program funded by the U.S. Department of Education
  • -For students who are from low-income families and/or potential first- generation college students, 9th - 12th grades
  • -Designed to promote the academic skills and motivation for students to succeed in post-secondary education
  • -Tutorial, educational & cultural opportunities
  • -Saturday academic sessions, college tours and a six-week summer enrichment program

  • -Seeking students who want to attend college and are highly recommended by teachers and counselors
