Program Description

Our Story Navigating the college application process can be overwhelming for many high school students. And when students get to college, many hit roadblocks and steer off course. For many, the key to successfully completing college is benefitting from a support system. Unfortunately, too many students from our community, though, lack resources and guidance. That is why in 2011, we started Evanston Scholars. What We Do Evanston Scholars is a non-profit organization that helps a diverse group of underserved, academically ambitious Evanston students attend and graduate college. Modeled after the tremendously successful Chicago Scholars Foundation, we offer workshops, mentors, college coaches, and a $1,500 scholarship to rising ETHS seniors every year.
