Program Description

Daytona State College, in partnership with the School District of Volusia & Flagler Counties, will serve 500 middle and high school students each year in 16 target schools through the U.S. Department of Education Talent Search program.

TRiO Educational Talent Search is a federally funded program offered through Daytona State College in partnership with Volusia and Flagler County schools. Educational Talent Search provides academic, career and financial counseling to eligible middle and high school students and encourages them to graduate from high school and pursue their post-secondary education. Educational Talent Search also encourages persons who have not completed education programs at the secondary or post-secondary level to enter or re-enter and complete post-secondary education.
