Program Description

Community Bridges is a nonprofit organization that provides multicultural empowerment and leadership programs for diverse girls in the Silver Spring, Maryland community.

Mission

Community Bridges empowers girls from diverse backgrounds to become exceptional students, positive leaders, and healthy young women.

Vision

We envision an inclusive community where each person is valued and has abundant opportunities to improve themselves and the world around them.

Approach

    • Endless Potential: Individuals are encouraged and given opportunities to explore limitless possibilities in order to actualize their dreams.
    • Strength-Focused Thinking: Everyone is in possession of assets that can be mobilized to promote collective action in schools and communities.
