College Forward provides college access and college completion services to motivated, economically disadvantaged students in order to facilitate their transition to college and make the process exciting and rewarding. We work with students from the beginning of their junior year in high school, and we stay with them until they earn a bachelor's degree. In order to qualify for our program, students must be in the top 60% of their class at the beginning of their junior year and either qualify for free/reduced lunch or be the first person in their family to graduate from college in the United States. We also provide day-long parent workshops for our families where we cover topics such as financial aid and how to be a supportive parent of a student in college. We provide our services to high schools in the Austin and Houston areas in Texas, and our students attend more than 100 colleges in the United States.
