Program Description

The Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy was founded by Andre Agassi and opened in 2001 third, fourth and fifth grade students. The college prep school has expanded each year and is now a K-12 school with the inaugural class graduating in June 2009. Agassi Prep was conceived from Andre's belief that nothing has a greater impact on children's lives than the education they receive. "Early on, we concluded that the best way to change a child's life was through education," said Andre Agassi, a native of Las Vegas dedicated to improving the lives of underserved youth in his hometown and across the U.S.

Defined by educational excellence, the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy (a K-12 public charter school) maximizes the potential of every learner. As a center of strength, AACPA provides an array of choices and opportunities to underserved communities. By harnessing the talents of gifted educational entrepreneurs, AACPA works to produce inspired, creative, ethical, compassionate, and reflective leaders who offer solutions to the problems posed by a democratic society.

AACPA is a tuition-free, public charter (K-12) school in Las Vegas, Nevada. AACPA does not discriminate its enrollment based on the race, gender, religion, ethnicity, or disability of a pupil. As a Nevada state approved charter that is dedicated to providing educational programs and opportunities to pupils who are at risk, AACPA follows the enrollment guidelines as detailed in NRS 386.580 Subsection 2.
