Program Description

The AnBryce Foundation provides multiple settings for underserved youth that stimulate the curiosity for learning and the discovery of self in order to support and promote the growth of independent and confident thinkers. Through long-term academic and leadership enrichment opportunities that equip them to excel in school, in relationships, and in facing challenges, while having fun, the AnBryce Foundation instills in each youth the confidence to become successful in post-secondary endeavors and prepares them to play an active role in improving their communities and the world.

The AnBryce Foundation envisions creating a family of leaders from underserved communities who embody the idea of becoming the best they can be and giving back to others through various types of philanthropic endeavors.

Success Stories

Since the day Nevasha Lynette Noble was born, she was destined for success. At the age of nine, Nevasha started her commitment to the AnBryce Foundation. First, Nevasha spent her summer as a camper at Camp Dogwood Summer Academy for two weeks. She loved it so much that she continued to go every summer, until she reached the age of 13. By the age of 14, Nevasha moved on to the Rites of Passage program at the camp and later became a Counselor in Training.

In addition to Camp Dogwood, the Foundation also offered a Saturday Institute program to students in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area. Nevasha didn???¢??t hesitate to get involved. At the Saturday Institute, she was a part of the SAIL Program, which was geared toward high school students and helping them become future leaders and scholars. Nevasha was always hard working and very focused on her future. During her senior year of high school, she was selected as an AnBryce Scholar and received a full tuition scholarship to New York University (NYU), starting in the fall of 2011.

Nevasha graduated from New York University in May with a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology, with a focus on Education and Urban communities, and a minor in Public Health and Public Policy. Nevasha plans to attend graduate school to earn Masters in Education Policy and Business Administration. She is a leader, in her own right, and will make a profound difference. AnBryce has been a big part of the journey.
